I am under 18 and I am worried about online sexual abuse or the way someone has been communicating with me online. What should I do?

You can report the incident to your local police force who will be able to provide further advice and assistance.

I am under 18 and I have found sexual images of myself posted online. What should I do?

Childline and the Internet Watch Foundation also provide a service to help with the takedown of explicit or nude images of children shared online.

I have come across IIOC on my employee’s or customer’s device.  What do I do?

Do not make any changes to the device or its contents. Wherever feasible, store the device in a secure location. Contact your local police force.

I have identified a website hosting IIOC. What do I do?

Websites believed to contain IIOC can be reported to the IWF. Information on when and how to report can be found at www.iwf.org.uk/report.

Does NCA-CEOP review and endorse the safety provisions of private sector organisations?

NCA-CEOP does not provide a review process for the safety provisions of private sector organisations. The NCA will not allow our brand or logo to feature on third party websites or materials as an endorsement of that service’s safety provisions.
